Sambut Perhelatan Grammy Awards 2022 di CXO Media

Grammy Awards 2022 akan digelar pada Senin (4/4) di MGM Grand Garten Arena, Las Vegas. Acara yang dikenal sebagai music's biggest night ini akan menampilkan Brothers Osborne, BTS, Brandi Carlile, Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X dengan Jack Harlow, dan Olivia Rodrigo.

Setelah menggandeng total tujuh penghargaan, Billie Eilish mendapatkan tujuh nominasi untuk tahun ini. Karyanya Happier Than Ever raih nominasi untuk Record of The Year, Album of The Year, Song of The Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Music Video, dan Best Music Film untuk Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles.

Tidak hanya Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo juga mendapatkan tujuh nominasi; jumlah yang besar untuk kali pertamanya bagi si musisi muda berumur 19 tahun ini. Adapun nominasi yang didapat oleh Olivia Rodrigo adalah Best New Artist, Album of The Year dan Best Pop Vocal Album untuk Sour, Record of The Year, Song of The Year, dan Best Pop Solo Performance untuk drivers license, serta Best Music Video untuk good 4 u.

Brandi Carlile juga gandeng beberapa nominasi utama, antara lain, Record of The Year, Song of The Year, Best Pop Solo Performance untuk Right On Time, Song of The Year untuk The Year for A Beautiful Noise feat. Alicia Keys, dan Best American Roots Performance untuk Same Devil.

Smooth like butter, grup musik asal Korea Selatan, BTS, dengan mulus raih nominasi Best Pop Duo/Group Performance untuk Butter. Duo musisi country kakak beradik, Brothers Osborne, mendapatkan nominasi di Best Country Duo/Group Performance untuk Younger Me, dan mendapatkan nominasi Best Country Album untuk Skeletons.

Dalam kategori Rap, Lil Nas X raih nominasi Record of The Year, Song of The Year, dan Best Music Video untuk Montero (Call Me By Your Name), Album of The Year untuk Montero, dan Best Melodic Rap Performance untuk Industry Baby. Lantaran ikut serta dalam produksi Montero, Jack Harlow juga dapat nominasi di kategori Best Melodic Rap Performance dan Album of The Year. Bersama dengan Lil Nas X, Nas yang memenangkan piala Grammy Awards tahun lalu bersaing di nominasi Best Rap Song untuk Bath Salts dan Best Rap Album untuk King's Disease II.

Pemenang Grammy Awards yang ke 12 kali, Foo Fighters, dapat 3 nominasi di tahun ini. Jon Batiste dapat nominasi paling banyak dengan total 11 nominasi, diikuti dengan H.E.R. yang mendapat 8 nominasi di ajang Grammy Awards.

Dalam acara ini, nantikan juga penampilan spesial untuk mengenang Stephen Sondheim yang akan diramaikan oleh Cynthia Erivo, Leslie Odom Jr., Ben Platt, dan Rachel Zegler.
