Suga BTS Diserang Komentar Rasis, ARMY Langsung Bertindak

Grup musik asal Korea Selatan, BTS, memanfaatkan waktu luang mereka di sela-sela tur Amerika Serikat dengan melakukan kegiatan yang mereka sukai. 

Beberapa waktu lalu, Jungkook menyempatkan diri menonton konser Arianna Grande dan bertemu dengan sang penyanyi pentolan Disney tersebut di belakang pangung. Sekarang, Suga memilih untuk mendatangi lapangan bisbol tim Dodgers Los Angeles. 

Foto Suga berada di lapangan Dodgers diunggah oleh akun Twitter stasiun televisi olahraga, ESPN. 

"Suga from @bts_bighit made it out to Dodger Stadium," tulis ESPN dalam keterangan foto. 

Namun, unggahan tersebut mendapatkan respons kurang sedap berupa komentar pedas sarat dengan ungkapan rasis, seperti berikut ini: 

"JUST Another rich Chinese kid"

"Americans don't like that crap, except pre teen girls,"

Tak terima sang idola mendapatkan komentar negatif, ARMY pun segera melakukan tindakan pembelaan. 

"Can't stand some of these replies. Just goes to show how closed minded some people are. I'm glad Suga from BTS is enjoying the game. Pretty sure he met up with Ryu, a fellow Korean, before or will after the game. He deserves the rest after BTS sold out all their stadium tours," tulis salah satu ARMY membalas komentar rasis tersebut. 

"I'm an adult and I love them for many reasons, one being how they use their impact for good and make music of all different genres and styles of real issues and to heal. And actually the fandom is very diverse. I seen many people of all ages, ethnicities, and gender who love them."

Bahkan, salah satu pengguna Twitter yang telah berusia matang turut membela Suga karena tidak terima dengan komentar rasis yang ditujukan pada Suga. 

"I'm 43 and love BTS. I'm going to their concert this weekend with my 13 yr old daughter and my 61 yr old mother. Quality, meaningful, intellectual music has no age requirement or barrier. Expand your mind sir, its a big world out there."
