Sebelumnya acara ini lebih dikenal dengan nama, Gaon Chart KPop Award. Gelaran Kali ini dihelat di Jamsil Arena, Seoul, Korea Selatan, dan dipandu oleh Kim Jong Kook dan MOMOLAND's Nancy.
